• Managed translation/localization efforts during launch of Nextel’s best-in-class Spanish-language website, which increased Spanish on-line purchases by over 500%.

• Played key role in integration and re-branding efforts to combine Sprint and Nextel’s brand in one fully integrated Spanish-language websites, following the 2005 merger.

• Determined content structure of integrated Sprint/Nextel site and evaluated content effectiveness.

• Approved and deployed all Spanish-language site updates to Sprint Nextel’s 12 production web servers via the TeamSite Content Management System’s (CMS) Open Deploy interface, eBusiness Management Tool (eMT) and Collaboration Tool.

• Spanish and English web content development, including taxonomy and writing “search engine optimized” web content.

• Managed outsourced translation services.

• Authored Sprint’s Spanish-language web writing style guide and developed the company’s translation glossary.
